TASTING NOTES
The idea was to create a wine with dark fruit that is finely integrated with cofee/mocha flavours. To achieve this, the wine was fermented and aged on well roasted French oak staves. The Bean has a deep purple colour, the nose shows dark mocha and roasted coffee bean flavours. The wine shows a lot of tannins, but these tannins are fine and silky and well integrated in the wine. The palate is mouth filling and surprisingly complex for such a young wine. Once tasted, this is a wine not easily forgotten.

The Strawberry has a lovely salmon colour. The nose is reminiscent of fresh strawberries, a firm acidity adds freshness to the palate. The wine is lively and clean on the palate with a good finish. Pinotage grapes often can create a beautiful rosé, of which this wine is a fine example. It is a lovely refreshing summer wine.
